I filled up with LPG about a month ago, and it was running great prior to filling up. Since then ive only been running on Petrol and just today did I switch over to LPG and now it runs like crap. It has trouble idling after a start, you have to accelerate real slow from a stop or it will just bog down. It will cruise along ok, and idles ok after running, and will accelerate ok while driving.

I did replace the coil inbetween the last time I drove on gas, but as far as I know there was nothing wrong with the old one, I just had a new one on hand and thought I may aswell replace it just in case.

Its a factory gas system (on my EL)

So does LPG go off like petrol?

Ive done the self retune before with good results, so should I give that a go in case the coil did make a difference?

Looks like the self re-tune worked, car now runs fine.

But im still interested in whether LPG has a 'best before' date?

I have had really bad fills before, My old BRC regulator got blocked from a bad fill from shell a while back. I changed the converter and it is running great since, better than ever.
