Just been looking around for a replacement to the mixer ring on my sprintgas kit, theres a full throttlebody/tickford mixer on around, about 37mm inlet.

was thinking about trying that, will measure my current mixer ring and see the difference first. but if anyone has one please give some feedback on it.

i was wanting to go gas research until i couldnt get one god damn straight answer via email, geez just want the fricken mixer for an EL 6 and what i need air intake wise to fit it. GAH morons.

have even been thinking about impco 225 but i dont know where top get a kit to fit it and how to fit it, like what extra needs doing.

my cars getting its manual conversion put in as we speak then in goes the new head with all the new porting job, higher compression and lovely new bits.

just wanna take some restriction out of the gas mixing process.

Any experience is welcome, products used? where to buy them? how its fitted. that sorta general picture.

then at the end i will post up comparative dyno figures of the results with the mixers.

if u go gas research or impco u will need to change the converter to a aussie B2 or impco model L...

u will have a complex mixer if u have a ring system...u need a simple converter for a GRA or impco mixer...

factory tickford mixer rings arnt all that better size wise....id be very surprised if u could get over 125rwk with a mixer ring system...the size of the hole has a flow limit around 200cfm (from my crude calculations).....

around 150rwk has been acheived with a 225impco (maybe more is possible)....

someone on here has used a GRA mixer with a tickford vialle complex convertor...it can be done but its extremely unconventional...forgotten his username (its an EF with a AU VCT running a GRA mixer and vialle converter)

yeah, still a good few hours of bordom fixed, if it makes a difference will post up the dyno chart.

beats the mixer i got from the sprintgas kit, that one is 30mm dia, so 12 more mm has gotta be better.

should do until they make liquid gas injection for EL 6'smby icom jtg.
