I'm needing a bit of help from someone who has a GRA setup. I need to know where' the following three connections run to:
(after details on the right angle connection on the side of the converter with the black hose on it). 
(after details on the connection with the black hose on it, just under the solenoid). 
(after details on the barb with no hose on that is in the aluminium mounting block for the ISC). So, I'm hoping that someone with a GRA setup could find them on there's and follow the pipes to see were they lead (maybe even a pic or two)... |

I'm pretty sue that the solenoid from pic b needs to be removed, that hole blocked, and the solenoid fitted to pic a, then a line run from pic a to pic c. |

I think different!.
I suspect the Right Angle at the Converter is a balance line - most likely goes to the airbox. Cant remember which side at the moment - you'll need someone with one to tell you. I suspect the solenoid is the idle solenoid, and that will go to the barb on your ISC. But.... Based on what Ive seen recently I cant guarantee any of that info 
Does the GRA website have any installation instructions? - Im sure they can email or mail you some out if you need it. |

GRA are a bunch of f**k wits on the phone. There website has a fair bit, but it's very conflicting, some of the diagrams just don't include certain things or skip over them - I've printed out and put in a binder everything I could find on there website, but I can't find the answer in there.. Nah, neither of them are balance lines. Here's a birds eye view of the converter showing all the connections:

I would take a punt and say its a primer for LPG only starting.

Yours isn't full GRA is it? Your running GRA throttle body with some other converter (from the pictures your converter looks larger and is mounted vertically). I originally though it was for gas starting, however, one of the documents I have here talks about it opening at cruise and whatnot aswell. |

My guess is that u dont have a complete GRA setup, as the pic indicates u have a B2 converter, which is NOT the same as the GRA one, desp;ite what the fitter says. Contact GRA and have a converter sent out, trust me, it is worth the expense. I had a major argument with my fitter re the converter, and it cost HIM $200. They use different springs and diaphram settings
Pic #1 "unknown" goes to a tap into the throttle body under the butterfly. Balance pipe MUST go to air filter box b4 the air filter to fool the converter into thinking it is under pressure (or something like that!!) 
Pic #3 the port goes to a vacuum thingy that is really hard to describe, and I dont have my camera handy, but it controls the LPG output on idle. The LPG into the converter does not look right. But with the GRA one, it may sort itself out. Get a good lockoff valve b4 the converter, one with a replaceable filter

They use different springs and diaphram settings Yes, it is a GRA converter. They use the B2 converters with different internals. I have the receipt still here from GRA. I cant get one til tomorrow. I may be mistaken, but GRA only issued converters with "silver/chrome" covers with their details on it. I will post a photo asap.
btw: how do u put photos on this forum??????? ( my IT skills are limited) |

no you are mistaken... see the little blue stickers on the top cover =, they say gas research

As for putting photos, personally I find the best way is to go to http://www.imageshack.us, host the picture there, and just past the link here. Use the forum one, just copy and paste the text in that block and it will display the picture. |

gogetta - cheers a bundle for that pic. I assume that is your setup?
Do you have a solenoid in between the water inlet and outlet at the back? i.e. such as the one in the second picture I posted in my first original post. 
Were does the hose with the red arrows pointing run from and to? And with the hose that runs from the side of the converter to the ISC mounting block (the one with the blue arrows), do you have a jet in there at all to control the flow (doesn't look like it)? Also, what are the wires (with the green arrow) connected to? I'll get a full picture of my engine bay tomorrow. |
