Hi all,

The hose that goes from my converter, though the stepper and to the mixer is in sad shape indeed.. it is rock hard and inflexible and it has tiny cracks inside in the rubber layer..

It's rubber of some sort covered by a black rope type layer..... the rope woven layer is the only thing stopping it from leaking like a sieve.

I've driven to super-cheap, repco, coventries autopro and I asked at vieles too... none of them have it.. anyone know where I'd source this stuff?

Cheers

Frank

ahh.. so it's LPG specific hose... what does "not cheap" in this context mean? 40 bucks for a couple of feet or what?

cheers

True, but I don't know what brand I'd get from a gas fitter either.. or what brand is in the car now.

I just searched online and people seem pretty happy with vland stuff.. they are an Australian company with a real world shop and in the yellow pages etc etc.. means they'd have to sell approved kit for LPG.. all guaranteed too... good enough for me.. I'll check it regularly for a few months to make sure it ain't deteriorating.
