Hey all

Thinking about getting my car converted to LPG... but cant make up my mind..

Has anyone had any experience with "camel gas" or "unique autogas"??

Camel gas do a lot of taxi's, so they would have more experience with falcons...

Unique auto gas is cheaper and they will let me get the tank I want and still be cheaper...

Both shops use sprint gas kits

Camel is $3000, using a 65 liter tank
Unique is $2750, using a 65 liter tank... or I can get a 50 liter tank (which I want) to fit in my spare wheel-well for $200 more.. making it $2950..

So what do people think of sprint gas gear??

and if there are any members who have had work done by unique or camel... can you let me know what you think..

Thats the exact setup I've got and after a couple of minor tuning hicups it doesnt miss a beat. best thing I've done, even if I did get a little ripped off coz I had it done up here in the Bay. I should've come down to Newy. Been told you can get gas inj somewhere in Cardiff for $3700.

Hey,

I had my conversion (95 Toyota Hiace Camper) done through Camel Gas in Newcastle and have nothing but positive things to say about them. They are helpful, friendly and professional. They showed me how to tune it myself if I choose, answered all questions I have and were more than willing to help in any way I required.

Five stars!
