Hi all, I have an NC fairlane that I want to put onto LPG, I had an impco system on my last car and it was great, i would like to put something similar on my fairlane.

I have a few questions:

- what system would people recommend for the 5ltr
ie. would an impco L convertor with what mixer be sufficient, i eventually want to put a cam and GT40P heads on the car so i want something that will flow for up to 180ish kw at the engine on lpg

- can you get closed loop systems for these gas systems to make it more efficient on the highway?

- approximately how much will the system cost?

- do i get the rebate through the fitter or do i take my receipt to get my $2000 back? (i am completely unfamiliar with the rebate system?)

- Does anyone recommend a particular fitter in SE suburbs in Melbourne?

Thanks heaps in advance
Cheers

hello there i would recommend the IMPCO system with a 425 style mixer i have one on my ed futura 5.0 and it hasent skipped a beat :-)

yeah its a closed loop system using the global autogas LBL processer which injects lpg vapour into the system rather than bleeding off throttle body vacuum.

u can get the rebate if the car is registerd prvatley its though medicare and the money usally goes into ur account in 4 to 10 working days

can u narrow down ur area for me and ill let u know on an insatller
