Can anybody give me a brief overview of how SVI works? And any reason why an SVI kit from an N/A BA falcon will or will not operate on a Turbo 6 motor? I am not really concerned with performance of the turbo motor when running on gas, as it will be dual fuel, but just want the system to run the same on gas, when off-boost, as the N/A motor.

Got the car switched over to the XR6 turbo motor. The bloke who installed the engine transferred the pre-drilled intake manifold from the old motor. Turns out the SVI system works straight off with no mods needed. Power is decent, but nothing great. Will hit boost but performance not as dramatic as on petrol.

You definitely need to retune the SVI system AFTER you install the turbocharger.

The main thing that will restrict a boosted SVI application is injector flow rate.
