Hi, I have 98 EL Falcon running a Landi Renzo VO5 system as part of the dual fuel on my car. The car was put in ecu overide mode (jumpered in fuse box) and timing adjusted after two mins. The timing was set to 7 degrees advanced.

It does not have that oomph that it used to have. Bit sluggish in mid range to upper speed zones. Car has just had the heads done with all new parts such as leads, oxy sensor, air cleaner, plugs etc.

Can sumone tell the best timing degrees to set on this car. It ususally runs on gas.

Why did you wait 2 mins to set Timing? - You need to do the timing *before* 2 mins. Otherwise you need to start again?

In that case would you just need to earth it again, and it will retune to the different timing?

okay ...will keep that in mind. Upon jumpering.....we started the car until the Revs went high n low (unstablewithin secs) we did the timing . Can anyone answer the original "degrees" question ?

Thanks once again to all replies.
