i'd definately be interested seeing not only the kms you are getting out of it but the type of system that is running, since i know next to nothing about the various types and the performance they offer.

i always see lpg tanks in the boot of the falcon (obviously), probably a newb question but can they be mounted anywhere else? I read the wagons can have them under the car, what about the sedans? existing petrol tank? cos i have a massif sub yuleh

22+ L per 100kms :(

'93 V8 Monty Ghia wagon with all the fruit. The only mods are pacey extractors & 2 1/2" single exhaust. (wish I got the 3")

OMVL R90e converter with simple mixer. AEB 270 electronics. Gas only (2 tanks). This weekend I put a another MAF (nice & clean), cleaned a filthy idle control, a disgusting EGR & a putrid & blocked PCV which was not even connected. Also I checked the timing which the gas fitters told me they set & discovered it was set at 22 degrees! I have advanced it to 33 degrees. I took it for a drive & it feels like a different car! I hope to see an improvment in the economy :D

17.5l/100klm so I voted 18,
I have a crappy set up installed from brand new by new oakleigh motors(ford dealer who does gas systems).
The converter is a Boemo and the mixer is a sprintgas. Don't remember the electronics but I do like the 3 pos switch as I have gas only, petrol start, and petrol only positions.
I am going to fit an omvl converter I found as they work better for both power and economy I am told. I would have fitted it straight away but the coolant hoses are different size so I put it on the back burner. ( it will be easy but not a 15 min job).

Not an Ef, BUT EB2 5spd wagon (undermentioned)
Impco system, 500+ ks per 72 litres, conservative driving naturally!

equates to around 13ish litres per 100, which I'm told is very good.

I love it, $45 for 500 clicks.....yeat to se what the EF Ghia 5.0 uses in Gas, i DONT THINK i WILL BE HAPPY

Hi,
I have done 430km on a full tank gas on my EL 4l falcon on a Landi Renzo V05 system. This is when it is tuned properly with correct timing for gas. Now got it retuned but have lost timing so its bad. Need to get correct timing done.

hey guys i had an ef2 futura with a boemo engineering setup. Lovato computer, brc converter and it was remarkable.. around 600k's highway easy and 400 to 450 with a 68lt tank. my mont has a injection setup with is piss poor in consumption in comparison which is rather depressing only 350 :@ lol

I havent heard anyone with a good experience of gas injection, promises alot, cost alot, delivers not much more than a good vapour system.

ive got to agree at this stage, im waiting for some dyno time with my old man (foreman and boemo eng) to try and get this thing tuned correctly, its missing alot down low thats for sure. the system as hole works alot better but from what ive been told its not exactly friendly to the older e series :P.... lets wait and see
