hi

was wondeing how people wire up lpg systems to work on the dash fuel gauge and trip computer in a ea-ed.

has anyone got diagrams on wiring up impco and mga and any other lpg systems so the factory dash fuel gauge works and the trip computer works on gas when the switch is turned over to gas

I don't think they can very easily that's why they install auxiliary gauges I asked about it in my NF and they said no - can't be done.

I can make your factory gauge show the LPG content, but your trip computer i'm pretty sure calculates fuel usage through injector duty, not rate of change of the fuel level.

As tickford 6 said. You can purchase an LPG Sender that will make the factory gauge work.

The Trip meter will show DTE of sorts, but wont be accurate. That said, in my previous 3 cars the Trip meter/DTE stuff wasnt too far off. Just not something id count on.

Any specs on the sender to suit el xr6 for lpg?

Gee I missed that didnt I. Not off the top of my head, but your LPG Fitter can supply you the correct sender for an EF-EL Tickford LPG Falcon should work.
