I bought this car for my son to drive after the demise of his VL but he want to get another Holden :twisted: Anyway if I cannot get this transferred into my name without great expense I will be selling it.
The diff is a 2.92 and a bit noisy (I have not checked the oil level). The box seems good and the engine has a reco head on it and the brakes are good now. Open to serious offers.


EDIT: Changed from EOI to For sale !!!!!!!!

Diff replaced with 3.08 from EL.
Shocks and springs updated to EL.

It is not registered, I am getting it checked on Wednesday by the RTA. If it passes then whole with a RWC otherwise I will be parting it.

Be looking to recover the $900 I have invested it in without wheels or $1200 with 4 classic rims with 2 new fronts and 2 half worn rears all 215x15.

Car has passed ACT rego and is available with 3 months rego. I am not after a profit just my money back with a firm price so grab a bargin....

Recent work to get roadworthy.
Steering Rack replaced.
Sway bar bushes replaced.
Redback Exhaust repaired.
Rear caliper seals replaced.
Front Uni Joint replaced.

Generally good all round mechanically except the following.
Diff Noisy - Now replaced with 3.08 EL diff.
Shocks soft. Now replaced with EL shocks and springs.
Bodywork.
A dent in the bonnet and some slight surface rust.
Roof lining sagging.

5 Speed is in good condition and changes smooth and no clashing at all, noise free T5.
( makes me want to get my 5 speed in ASAP)
Clutch solid with good pedal box.
Newish Radiator and Overflow tank.
Newish Battery.

Has 3 months rego as of today. Could deliver to Bendigo - Central Victoria at easter if not sold beforehand. I do travel to Albury around once a month so that is an option as well.

Im very keen but I only need the box, and then would have tricky operation of getting rid of an EA without a trans!

I am interested but cant justify $900 if you cant move it and are happy to drop the price please let me know!

You could of had the whole thing for $500 a few weeks ago, I just spent a bit and got it registered. If it is not gone by April then I might be able to do a deal then..
