Go an external everyone im no expert myself but from a bit of reading ive worked out internals suffer from boost spiking. Someone who knows what they r talking about will come on and confirm this a bit more technically soon enuf :)

to give you a basic idea, a wastegate is used to control the level of boost, ie. when the boost gets to a certain pressure the gate opens and allows exhaust gases to bypass the turbo and go straight through the exhaust **stopping overboost**.

the problem with internally gated turbo's is that they cannot flow as much air as an external. on a skyline this isnt as big a problem, but our cars throw out alot more air.

so yeah, basically you will want external... not sure if anyone is running internal, only heard of external setups of falcons

depends on what one you want.

your looking at around 1800-3000 for a turbo if its genuine garrett. trying to organise a group buy of these to. but still in negotiations.

there are cheaper alternatives out there to. its just garrett is one of the best turbo companies.

we are probabley looking at around 2months maybe 3 to get the 10 people, as it is not like there is a giant pool of people out there waiting for deals to turbo.

I beleive this is due to the new design.
All i have done is passed on the prices that i was told by Snort. It may be due to increased production cost or something, im not to sure. I didnt feel it was my place to ask them why they had increased their price since it is still a good discount and if you compared it to the 6boost manifolds they sell on some websites its a saving of around $600 and its a heaps better manifold.
