Donations go toward hosting. It isnt cheap to keep a site like this running.

Thanks for the reminder Waggin, I sold somethingabout 2 months ago and a condition of sale I said would be that I'd donate and never got around to it.

I'll do it ASAP.

Hey Guys and Gals,

For all of you private advertisers (and Commercial users who arent sponsoring Fordmods *FROWN*); Perhaps you could put a portion of your sale price towards a Fordmods donation if you sell an item via Fordmods!

Its not a big ask.. think about how much it would've cost to advertise and/or sell in your local paper, or the trading post.

You will receive all the benitifs of being a donating member, and you will feel much better about yourself :)

Cheers!

hi waggin

i take it your the admin of this forum

how can one make a donation to this forum when you have deleted several of my postings

im not commercial im a private seller

sponsoring Fordmods mmmmmmmmmmmmm

and no explaintion as to why you have deleted my postings so how do you expect people to make a donation

in carsales.com you can place a add in for $10 which allows you to place 5 pictures and unlimited time frame before the vehicle is sold

so i would like a explaintion why you have cancelled my adds

it probly wasnt brad, there are others that are able to delete posts in the for sale section...like the senoir moderators. i think you will find that they will delete/change posts if you have not contribited enought to the forum. you joined not too long ago, so it may seem like your main reson to joining was to sell stuff on here

mitch i try and put in as much input into the forum as i can i dont answer on all postings like i know it all !!!!!!!

i just asked for a explaintion which in my mind would be curtious to respond to a person just to give the reason why????? postings were deleted not much to ask for????

If its donation this site runs on well lets be specific what the managment wants from its members rather than beat around the bush and say make a donation .

or do i have to be politically correct in here ?????

sponsoring Fordmods mmmmmmmmmmmmm

just want some feed back thats all??? if i have broken some comandment in here i need a explaintion?????

if waggi didnt delete the postings can someone put there hand up and respond to a simple request !!!!! why ??????

Hi,

Welcome to the Forums!

Fordmods isn't carsales or the trading post. This is an online technical forum and community for Falcon owners.

As a side benifit to our regular members we offer free advertising in the forums. People who join up with intent only to post items for sale will have their posts deleted as this deemed abuse of our free service.

Donations arent required for you to sell items on here, however they are greatly accepted as a token of your appreciation of the service we offer. I'm sure most people on this forum have received atleast $5 of value from the site :)

I would be more than happy to donate something when I sell something through the site. I have been considering donating anyways . . . I enjoy the site alot so to me its like a small membership fee. how often do ppl donate?

it means after 180 days of receipt of your donation you will no longer be a donator .. so it is like a voluntary subscription.
