Any info on the need for an engineer’s certificate on an EL
This package does not come with pads? If not what do I need to ask hightek for
Do the callipers come with the tickford logo? Well or just the AU ones? Or are they the same for both AU and BA.

Thanks!

9. Brake Conversions

Generally an Approval Certificate is required for any modification of service brake systems. However, where the modification converts the original braking system to another system supplied by the vehicle manufacturer as optional equipment for a vehicle of the same make and model, other evidence may be acceptable.

I have upgraded my brakes to Premium Spec, so there is no need for me to get mine approved. If you get hassled, you could say the brakes are from an EL GT, which are off the same make and model of yours. (However technically, the EL GT brakes, weren't an option on all E-Series, i.e. EL Fairmont).

What size are the rotors on the stocky AU2 set up? And would you be able to fit the larger disc to AU2/3?

stock AU2 are 280 or 290 mm (cant remember exactly)
BA are 300 mm and premium are 330mm as are the EL GT
the fairylane by tickford and the AU tickford options

Joe at Crescent in Sydney is organising the 330mm brakes for the AU (well AU2 onwards) ... I was informed I will NEED to get 17" rims to fit over the calipers.

Oh..

Forgot to mention.

Crescent will be doing two packages.

300mm Rotors and 330mm Rotors.

How much would it cost for the 300mm kit? Are these available? I don't have the extra $$$ for the 330mm..... yet

Aren't the ones on ebay the hoppers stoppers kits, that end up giving you a +20 (mustang) offset?
