use the high level input into your amp (from your rear speakers), then it will run the sub/s

yeah I could do that but I have no remote wire to turn the amp on, only a power antenna wire, which only puts the antenna up if the radio is on, then switches it off when I insert an mp3 disc or a cd.

So I theoretically could run an amp, but only when I listen to the radio :(

the remote on is just a signal to turn the amp on when the car is running or switched to accesories. You cigarette lighter is wire in exactly the same way, just splice into that

But wouldnt that mean that my amp would be on all the time the car is running? Even if the radio is switched off?
