cheap for the 2 cars. well really its only 1 1/4.

dont know how you would goif you ever wanted to sell the gt, thats if you cold get it fixed at all.

and the repaired write off status on REVS may make it hard to sell in the future

He's worded the ad pretty well, and someone unscrupulous enough out there will see some pretty obvious potential.

if the original wreck was classed as an unrepairable write off at the registry office (to stop vechile rebirthing) im not sure if it would be possible to get it back on the road. with the vin numbers on display it would only take a phone call to find out i guess.

im curious as to why the plates were removed

Im pretty sure thats been floating around for a while also, I guess no one has had the guts to swap the plates and get it finished.

That EL GT is different. It was bought as a stolen and recovered vehicle. This EB is either a 'repairable write off' or 'statutory write off'.

There is much more work involved in this EB than just bolting on original parts.

The EB GT and the EB Fairmont Ghia have the same model number, the only difference is the Tickford id and GT badges

looks pretty dodgy if u ask me, ud have to change the rail id plates (on chassis iirc), and you would never have the panels matching numbers. and above all paint it colbat blue which s**t all over black anyway :D

The genuine shell is the same one that was for sale on ebay a few months ago (dont know if anyone remembers it). The Stone Brothers salvaged the motor and someone else put the shell up for sale. Maybe this guy has bought it with the intent to re-plate the copy?
