Or grind the front of the AU sump off.

with whats included there youd need to do some modifying, the ribs on the front of the AU sump have to come off, and a lot of grinding to get your balancer on, but its not impossible

NO! I have been looking into this and grinding the front of the sump off weakens it. It may leak after a while apparantly. Talk to "twason" about this one, VERY knowlegable about AU engine conversions.

im using the ef sump, dont need to touch the k frame, you just have to have the rear bearing i think it is machined and it goes in piece of piss.

Modifying the k-frame is no biggie, plus the cast sump on the AU engine gives better block rigidity, not that much more, but every bit helps eh? :D
