There's one for sale on this forum for $9k.

After a quick browse, there's one at marsan motors advertised for $9999.. he'll go down to $9k if you bargain with him.

Ring Mal Wood up to price a T56 guys.
Add to that the GT MAF and computer being rare and expensive, the GT40 manifold being better flowing (and better looking ;)) then the explorer...
Makes it worth a fair bit more then a standard EL2 XR8 ;)

This would be a brilliant base for someone planning on getting serious power out of the 5L.
Good luck with the sale Clampy.

the other example is from a WA dealer.. anyway since when do people actually get to sell their cars for what they're worth? I wish you all the best, but I don't think you should set your sights on $15k+.

Dude, that's a series one for starters.
A T56 conversion is like 6-8k, not to mention all the otehr little goodies in there.
I stick by 15k.

$15k plus is very achievable. How often do you see an EL XR8 at 60,000ks?

Ah the smell of tyre kickers telling people how much a car is worth without even seeing it !

As it has been stated by people on here who *actually* have a clue, on paper it is worth mid teens no problems - price up a T56 from Mal Wood...I believe the kit (from pedal box to tailshaft) is $8K supply only.

Clampy - have you got it on carsales ?
