Hey guys,

Upgrading myself to a new BA XR6 and need to sell the EL, however if my loan is not approved i'll need to cancel this, will know by wednesday 14/06/06

I have owned this car since oct 2004, and since owning it have always been happy to drive it, but like most, i've fallen in love with the BA XR6.

15' CSA alloys with 6 month old yokohama 225 tyres (1 centre cap missing)
Panasonic MP3 CD player with remote,
2X 350 watt Sony Explode 6X9s in parcel shelf
2X 180 watt Panasonic 6X9s in rear doors
2X 250 watt Sony Explode 6' in front doors
2X spare tyres
Fog & Spot lights
Tinted windows
K&N Pod Filter
Tow Bar (never been used)
Genuine Ford floor mats, FPV seat covers for front seats,
2 month old Blue Vision head lights and parkers
Replaced Distributor and coil March 05
Replaced Fuel Pump Jan 06
Replaced front brake pads Aug 05
Replaced rear brake pads Jan 06
Long registration until 07/04/07

The car has been well taken care of and is washed fortnightly, obviously no real engine modifications were made, but the car looks extremely great apart from the front right indictator having a slight crack, its honestly not noticable unless you know its there, besides that this car has no flaws when it comes to looks.
I have put silver mesh in the front grill and behind the ford badge, its definatly a car that sticks out from the rest and i've been very proud to own it and wish i could keep both cars.

PM me if your interested and have questions or want to make a reasonable offer.

Regards

Jason

It would pay to advertise on carsales.com.au and also ebay mate.
It's a buyers market at the moment as there is so much available, you might find you have to drop your price a fair bit though.

yeah after i chucked the price on, i had a look around, the price will more than likely be going down in comparison to other EL's, havent really kept myself updated on what i should be selling it for, i'll be putting it on ebay and carpoint as soon as i know i have the BA, if anyone has ideas as to an estimate of how much i should be adverstising for, please let me know

well i'm considering going to about 7,750, from what i've seen on carpoint, thats a pretty average price in comparison to other EL's with the same sort of "extras"

Yeah it's sad, i got offered 12k for mine 18 months ago but i didn't want to sell it, i've got $6500 on it now with a cpl of interested parties.
The car market has taken a huge dive, you find you basically have to give them away to get rid of them.

With Paul's SVO at 6.5k, and the EF XR6 I saw for 6k, I'm not sure you'll get what you're asking for yours.

I hope you do though - goodluck!

Yeah i took a look on carpoint to compare my car to other cars with similiar Kms etc, and $7750 is a fair price, its still cheaper than most stock EL's with higher K's, i mean a main factor in second hand cars is, Ks, and rego exp dates, plus good tread helps out too, obviously thats not everything of course for the sale of a car, the dealer offered me $1350.00 so the trading it in was not an option

mmm, i know is ound like a broken record, BUT

im about to purchase a second car for my parents
im looking at el fairmonts, with less than 100,000ks on them, all one owner, for 5500-6500 mark.

the second hand car market sucks, great time to buy, horrible time to sell
