just a note! mine's design two and i will be re-placing the top half with a one piece 45 degree stainless steel so there will be just one joiner in the pipes to give the intake some flex when at high revs! the pipes at the top was just a trial for fitment.. anyway good luck on your choice of design.

thanks for that dude. Anything towards this would be a great healp. Also what did you and fordfreak pay for yours? Where they new or 2nd hand? and what are they made of.

well mine the pipe that goes into the box is stainless cost around $20 new and the top section pipe was from fordfreak's dad,he had a couple of offcuts he brang home from work to use on fordfreak's twin tb,but now his not using them so i tryed them on my car to see what angle i needed so now i had to replace it with stainless and i'm done.
all up it should cost about $100 for stainless 3'
and with fordfreak's it's mild steel polished up,not sure what he payed for his i'll ask him when he comes over today.but his was new also! will let you know more when i find out or if he reads this first..

i baught mine (design 3) (oh and what a lovely looking engine bay it is too) SECOND HAND.. for $100 off "concorde".. but yes...is a very simple design and easy to take off.. IS mild steel... but polisehes up allright.. s stainless steel version would be better....did dyno b4 and after with a 2 piece intake (mandrel 3 inch) with a rubber(bend) connector with this one and had slight gains on the dyno.. (jakes performance) canberra...

Mine (design1) is polished alloy but it has a weld in it on the part going into the air cleaner the silicone was $11 each $12 for the clamps and $150 plus polishing for the pipe which is a copy of the mild steel one I have at home.

Well i think its time to start making a list or two. It seems that there is great demand for design one and three.

So add your names to the lists here.

Design 3:

Others:
MooseMan
iamdeath
zacha001

To the people in the 'others' list, put your name under a design and to anyone else put your name there. If you are a noobie then you have to wait or send me a PM. I have already recieved 3 PM's from you guys.

Im looking at interested of about 10-20 people PER DESIGN to make this a decent group buy. Once i have a full price and have one made up then ill start a new thread with all the lists in it and we can start taking payments and have them all made up.

Ben
