Hey guys.

Im going to the exhaust shop with in the next week or two to get my extractors installed. I asked about some 3" stainless intake piping and if he was interested in a group buy for a forum.

Now the group buy may be 5, to 20 depending on interest.

Basically im thinking of a few different designs.

Design One

Design Two

Design Three

Personally im hinting towards Design Three because it simply needs a EL TB pipe and a couple hose clams. They WONT be exactly the same as these but similar.

I will be talking to the boss at the exhaust shop to see what he can do us.

If you are interested just say something here and if there is enough interest then ill start properly organising it.
Also peoples thoughts would be nice.

Ben

Design 3 doesnt look to have much clearance for the bonnet. I had a play over the weekend with some 3" tubing and there was no way the bonnet would close over the BBM, i dont know how these blokes are doing them?

Postae shouldnt be more then about $15 dude. They wont weight much and if we do a buy of about 10 or more then we can possibly get them for $50 or so HOPEFULLY.

I been looking at design 3 because there is less pipe overall, and less bends, which means it will be cheaper and if its cheaper then i can sell them cheaper. Design one requires a couple plastic hoses and more clamps so that bring the cost up more.
This sale will be just the steel pipe and if i can get the gear i might look into the blue connectors needed.

EL pipe will be quick and easy to find and wont cost much.

just a note! mine's design two and i will be re-placing the top half with a one piece 45 degree stainless steel so there will be just one joiner in the pipes to give the intake some flex when at high revs! the pipes at the top was just a trial for fitment.. anyway good luck on your choice of design.
