hey a couple of people are still not sure about the mounting of the sheilds, ive attached a skectch (pretty rough) to give you an idea.
Quote: ok to install it all you need to is, loosen the exhaust head holts about 2-3mm, then slide the piece of angle into position ( the angle has notches in it and not holes) so it just slips into place. then you just re tighten the bolts. then you bolt the heat shield to the angle, ( stainless steel nuts will be welded to the underside of the angle, and the screws will be supplied - 8mm high tensile stainless steel screws, all good stuff!) it will take you 2 minutes to fit...

update:
ive already purchased all the bolts, nuts, washers. ive made the hole templates. still need to get the stainless welding rods. im picking up the stainless sheet this thursday. so the project is on its way, 2-3 weeks and they should all be in your door step. by next week all cut and folded. week after i should have all of the holes punched and the nuts all welded on. ive worked out the postage, $25, and thats for registered post. so fix me up in the next couple of weeks. i couldnt get the right sized boxes for them, so ive had to modify some larger boxes as small as possible to keep the postage cost down. i got a price on COD, and it was nearly double! so thanks guys for pointing that out to me! still waiting on dasmq and mr soul... cheers vince
