For what it is, 15K would be a very bloody good price, for a very bloody good car.
It just sucks that modded cars like that can't command a higher price...

A very schmick car, but as already said, you won't get anywhere near a worthwhile figure (let alone pay back your mods).

Since this car in the flesh...if it goes sadly hopefully another ford enthuiast picks it up....FM one preferably :P

15K i think unfortunanetly is probably the good mark with the paint and the motor almost equalling that it sucks to sell but reality :(

Good luck with the sale jay if u do go through with it whenever it might be.

I guess 15k wouldn't be bad, but yeah trying to get it is another thing. If it came to the crunch I'd probably be better off selling the good bits like the engine and diff seperately and dropping in a stock engine with a cam.

Given everything I've spent lately (and all up!) it'd be pretty silly to lose it now just for a few grand (which is nothing compared to the good few hundred grand I now owe the bank! ) After taking it away on a trip over the weekend I've decided I can't sell it and I'm claiming stress induced temporary insanity for thinking about getting rid of it :P

It's got nothing to do with the missus, she likes the car and isn't encouraging me to sell it. What I HAVE TO do is stop spending money on it - damn the mod bug!

I had a set of velour sports seats lined up to go in, and I also wanted to fit some bigger injectors and then play with the engine management but I think need to pull the plug on further spending and be happy to have it how it is.

The voice of reason has no place on these forums!! If you start talking like this, you'll make the rest of us start to feel guilty for the money/time we're spending on our cars (mine is currently undergoing $2k of engine mods) and the Ford modifying scene as we know it will never be the same!!!

Keep it, mod it, Love it!

ps. Good luck selling it Jay, your better off selling it outside of FM as you won't find a genuine buyer here (Dreamers only with no bling).

You'll def get easy $15k+, go for autotrader, tradingpost, drive.com.au/Carsales/carsguide.com.au! least if you are really wanting to sell it. it'll go that way!

honestly, 15k doesnt do it justice. keep it, have it as your baby, the money will just dissappear anyway... if youre honestly selling up, id push for at least 18 (which would less than cover the mods probably), but its not the point. over time you look back and see what a few bucks here n there has gotten u

I found it to be better value selling off all the go-fast bits from the WAGGIN, and then selling the car as stock. Got about $15k for the lot, and it was no where near as pretty as your car :)
