As a s*** of the install of the 8860, i will no longer need my XR8 ECU and my 75mm Pro-M Maf. The MAF is tuned for 24lb injectors and is a plug and play for our 5.0 falcons up to AU. The XR8 ECU is from a Series 2 EF XR8 auto, and has performed faultlessly in my EFII Fairmont Ghia.
XR8 ECU $300
Pro-M Maf $350.
Buy the pair for $600 and i will pay for shipping anywhere in Australia

ECU if from a series II EF not EL.

With the 8860, do they run a MAP instead of the MAF ?

Also, just curious, have you seen much of a difference with the new ecu ? Do you have any before and after dyno graphs ?

Yes EMS run MAP. Joe is still doing the Install. Will not be much difference N/A, but should be a lot different on NOS. When EMS is done, I will give you a call about engineering approval for the brakes etc.

is it hard to tune the maf for diffrent injectors?

Well the EMS is in, needs a ture tune, but yes it goes a lot better off gas. Doesnt have the big lag it used to on the factory computer. And the PRO-M has been sold. Congrats to mikoxhxr8
