Darren - they definatly had EBII Fairmont Ghia Wagons. If you do a search through redbook for prices, they are listed there. Also - you can do a "reseach" on most car websites like carsales, car point etc etc
$42,860 rrp when new for the I6
$45,508 rrp when new for the V8

Anyways. I didnt end up looking at the car today, as I slept till 2pm, then cleaned an orange XD for the sydney car festival, then came to work.

Mike - the owner of the Ghia is in tonight. He says the car has the mid series cluster, and about 235,000km on the clock
The gearbox was served 1500km ago.

I meant option codes :)

Striker has what was claimed to be a de-optioned EB Fairmont Ghia. It has the Ghia dash, and ghia badges.. but no power windows. Me thinks its not a Ghia. Would be nice to figure either way.

Easy enough to find out. Get the vin chassis number, and then call ford assist... or try it on the "myford" website..

or I can ring up one of my contacts in Ford, and ask her to get the details on the car...

I got her to check my XR one day, and she gave me a list of all the options mine came with -which included "6S" - GT suspension (so I was pretty happy with that - cos it helped me understand the drama I had with the trailing arms)

Hmm need Kelli to post the numbers etc, pretty sure she has them, I can tell you that in V8 Ghia wagons versions, 67 were made in 1992 and only 26 in 1993.

Pretty sure there was also ED Ghia wagons, but these only came in 4.0L, much to my disapointment

2 weeks ago at auction was an ED V8 Fairmont Ghia Wagon. Full Leather interior. Black in Colour. 120,000 on the clock

How cheap are the auctions? Better then a wreckers? Cuz I am having trouble finding a decent suppiler of spare parts (ie a wreckers most preferably) around the Gold Coast.
