I've got a T56 (6 speed man) for a XR6T and F6 which i need to get rid of asap and just wanted to see if anyone is interested and how much they are worth. I just bought a T56 for a XR8 for $4800 so i was thinking about the same.

I bought the box with the intention of putting it in my ute, but i never got told the turbo box was shorter then the v8 box! It has 800km and in good condition, just needs some oil cos half of it ended up in the back of the ute.

So if anyone is interested let me know.

Thanks, Mark

Does that include the other bits and peices required for a conversion (crossmembers, yoke etc) or is it just the box by itself?

It's just the box itself. From what i've read on ford forums a conversion is about 6k total.

How much did you pay for your's Mark? Just after a rough idea on how much i can get for it without being too much out of pocket :|

I can already tell i'm not going to like this lol. Well without looking at the fortunate few that can get bargains :P What would be the average price for one of them? Is asking $4800 for a practically new box a fair price?

lol no they dont that is probably box only then you need a hydraulic setup custom tailshaft clutch kit and flywheel and an NA i6 flywheel list price at ford is $900

There kit is around $7k and you keep your current box

When i get back from work i'll post my box up for sale, along with two t3650's and some other stuff i need to get rid of, then hopefully i'll be able to afford 4.10 lsd before the drags :)

I dont have an account but i still think you are wrong there has to be some clause as i know to other members have paid upwards of 7k for a 6 speed kit from him one very resently had the conversion done in his shop. Maybe its a six speed conversion for BA owners.

Mark I would be thinking $4000 for a ford T56 is reasonable but yours is a low K box so id say $4400 to $4600 is a fair price these boxes are not easy to come by. The holden T56 are easier to come by and can be had for around $1800 to $2400.

I can second that - I recently had a quote for a complete conversion for around the 7k mark as well.
