This is pretty much an expression of interest as I'm really not sure what it's worth.

The ute is an original 3-speed column shift manual 6 cylinder Pursuit 500.

This car was sitting in a paddock for 12 years until the owner gave it to me. Before that is was used for hunting... Sadly it was not treated very well!

I'll start with the bad things...

BAD
- It's not registered
- Rust is most panels
- Most panels have some form of dent in them
- Tailgate is basically completely gone
- Underbody is rather dented
- Upholstery is cracked
- Dash is cracked
- Brakes are only working on the front left wheel (this will hopefully be fixed before selling)

But not all is bad!!!

GOOD
- IT RUNS AND DRIVES!!! And actually runs and drives well
- It's complete. Everything (and more) is there to make the car complete
- Gearbox and clutch all seem alright
- There is minimal or no rust in a lot of the "important" panels. i.e. The firewall, roof, window surrounds etc.
- Interior is not too bad. Usual wear.
- Some of the body work has been fixed up by myself
- Most of the chrome seems to be in good nic
- It's got a full set of chrome hub caps

That's pretty much all I can think of at the moment.

You definately need to see the car before buying.

One final thing... I sprayed the car gloss black just to get it look a little nicer. Most of the pics below were taken as soon as I got it and so it looks TERRIBLE. A lot of the BIG rust in the sills and doors has been patched up. Also, the car is not completely back together in the photos. A grill in good condition (from memory) is supplied.

Like I said, I really don't know what it's worth. There are quite a few good parts on it or it would make a good paddock thrasher.

Feel free to ask any questions.

I've had a few golden oldies, i'd say this one is worth around $500. There is alot of work in it, only a genuine entusiast would probably go for it.

Personally, if it was a sedan, i woulda already bought it of you though. I love XR sedans so so much.

:)

Andrew.

A lot of sudden interest!

Sorry to say but the ute sold nice and quick. $500. I'm happy that someone else can enjoy it now!

If it were a sedan I'd be keeping it! XR sedans are one of my favourites as well... Absolute favourite is the ZC Fairlane... mmm... ZC...
