G'day guys,

The time has come to sell my Falcon. It's an 8/1996 build EFII (last of the EFs) Futura sedan 6 cylinder automatic.

235,xxx km
The last 60,000km have been doing laps between Kalgoorlie and Perth.

Mechanical/exterior features:
-Good engine, doesn't blow any smoke or use oil. Just the slightest bit of lifter tick on cold startup
-2.5" Walker sports exhaust fitted last year
-Pacemaker extractors
-Low King Springs and matched Monroe dampers all round. Also has +10mm spring seats in the back.
-5 factory alloys
-towbar
-little driving lights; also wired up for a pair of big spotties.

Interior/electrical features:
-brand new VDO MP3 deck
-Pioneer (front) and Alpine (rear) speakers
-Fairmont trip computer
-good air con
-cruise control
-floor mats from new, so the carpet is good
-driver airbag
-3M lifetime guaranteed "Carbon Black" darkest legal window tint

Lots more pics: http://s337.photobucket.com/albums/n373/dhayden78/falcon/. Please note it now has different number plates.

Recent work:
-New DBA front brake rotors (yesterday)
-Sumitomo front tyres (less than 5000km ago)
-Penrite oil and filters changed (last month)
-coolant changed, water pump gasket and seal renewed, water pump is still perfect (early this year)
-Front wheel bearings (last August)
-rear tyres (last year, still very good)
-Rear wheel bearings, DBA rotors, Bendix pads, handbrake shoes (April? last year)
-Bendix front pads (Jan last year, still very good)
-new cylinder head (pro fitted Dec 2007)
-air con compressor, condenser, receiver drier, regas (2006)
have receipts for most of it

History:
-originally belonged to the service manager at Lynford
-bought by my parents in 1997. Serviced every 10,000km
-I bought it in 2006. Usually serviced it myself, every 7-8000 km

Faults:
-driver's power window needs help to go up
-central locking has been playing up - usually have to put the key in the door and wait for the actuators to bounce a few times. I will supply an aftermarket central locking kit and fitting instructions. EDIT: now that it's only being driven every couple of weeks, the locks seem to be fine again.
-small tear in front bumper.

Selling because I've bought a 4wd, and can't keep both.

$2400 ono.

I'm out of town atm, so the car is with my dad in Perth. You can email me at ghayden78[AT]ii[DOT]net with questions, or call him (Geoff) on 0411 255 089. Don't PM please, I'm not on here very often.

Dane.
