Its once again time to trade in my work car. I'm tossing up between a straight trade in, or selling it privately.
Its a March 2007 dated BF II Fairmont Ghia in lighting strike. It has all the standard Fairmont Ghia features, as well as leather interior, mud spats, Ford Ghia floor mats front and back and a 1200kg toe pack.
The car is in excellent condition inside and out, and has always been serviced by Ford and kept garaged. Its never been thrashed and has been looked after like it was my own. There is some gutter rash on one of the alloys, and also a scratch on the ICC screen. The scratch is very hard to impossible to see when driving the car.

Its Victorian registered until 30th March 2009 and I’ll supply either a NSW or VIC roadworthy. Brand new tyres have also just been fitted all round.

90% of the K’s have been done on the Hume highway travelling between Albury/Wodonga to Melbourne.
On average Its getting 8.4l per 100k, this is mostly highway travelling but also stop start traffic in Melbourne.
Overall its the best car I’ve driven, I just hope the FG will be as good.

I’ve looked on carpoint and there is still car yards selling the same car, same manufacturing year, less options for $48,000+.
