The revs sit at about 1000-1100rpm now and thats turned all the way down.

Try making another ISC gasket with smaller holes, to "choke" how much air it lets in at idle. Start with 3mm or 4mm holes in the gasket first, then if it has lowered the rpm's too much, bump up the base idle till your happy with it.

If the idle is still too high after using smaller holes, then block off the isc completely with a new gasket, see if that helps

Thanks mate, can i just completey block off the wholes because i had it sittin at about 950rpm before. It idles like crap anything under 900 and hunts.

yeah block it off until you get a tune, which will stop the hunting. Then make the new gasket with small holes so you can fix idle, whilst still having cold start idle settings.

i got my chiptorque chip back, and found it idled at 1000rpms even with throttle body turned right down and 800rpm in drive. So today i made new gasket with 4mm holes, and it idles perfect at 800rpms, and 650rpm in drive.

so its a good quick way to fix your issue, however the hunting wont go away until you get it tuned, or block off the isc, but then cold starts will be a pain...

Mate - I am too broke to afford one again anyway. Looks like the

1) FIEND

on the list should be canceled... At least you got two throttle bodies out of me... I found the third one the other day too (in the battery compartment of the old car!)...... Never mind, all the best Fast brother. Sorry...
