Hey guys got a motor here from my project I've changed directions in what I'm doing no longer doing a e - series,
I bought it roughly 6 months ago from pat/d1scnt in here nothing's been done to it besides the fitting of exhaust studs,
Just after what I paid for it or I'll keep it as a spare for my daily
im looking at selling my engine out of my ED.
its a series 3 AU block 100oddk's when i bought it.
ED XR6 tickford head, been decked, pressure tested less then 2000k's ago
Jimmock DEV 3 HL cam with HD valves spring's, new set of lifters again 2000k's old
2X AU steel headgaskets, new head bolts. full gasket kit installed.
also has 2x AU big end girdles fitted, modified sump with oil drain fitting
ED XR6 rockercover in factory sportsman green
i semi built this engine for low boost application. hence the 2x headgaskets. prior to fitting the head the bores were inspected and looked good as gold could still see the dunny brush marks from when it was honed and no lipping what so ever. can supply receipts for everything" just need to find them all"
its made 270 rwkw last time on the rollers with 9psi. idle's smooth as even with the cam.
the reason for selling is ive upgraded and the fund from this would be great to put towards the replacement. this would be a great block for a low boost application without going the hole hog and getting a forged bottom end.
