HI GUYS!
Just bought a CAPA Eliminator Chip to suit EA-EL Falcons but in reality, I don't really need it, I'd rather spend the money on more pressing issues. As such, my newly purchased CAPA chip is up for sale! They retail for $595 I'm after $350. FIRM-ish ... If I don't get what I want then I'll end up using it in my car. And for everyone that doesnt know what they do... They are a piggy back chip that plugs into the J3 port on the standard ECU and allows you to custom tune almost anything on the car. More info here... http://www.capa.com.au/ford_flash_tuner_eliminator.htm A mate of mine was making 134rwkw with only basic mods and gained 11kw, making 145rwkw on the same dyno after installing an eliminator chip and getting it tuned. Easy power gain.

i can vouch for these chips aswell you can change pretty much anything possible.

As I said. I'm happy to keep it but if I can sell it for what I want then the money is going towards some much needed suspension work. No point going fast if it squeaks over every bump

You can also get a switch for the chip so you can change between 5 different tunes which is pretty cool.

I'm pretty sure it's just "one size fits all"
There's a bunch of numbers on it but I'm pretty sure they're just component part numbers. You're more than welcome to come have a look at it mate. I can put you in touch with someone who can tune it as well. He tuned the blokes that made 145.

Yep just plugs into the back of your EF-EL ECU J3 port and the tuner just has to have the right bin for your car

Cash? Why does everybody say that? How else do you think you can pay? Sexual favours? An IOU?
I'm interested to know what difference there is between this and those J3 Chips everybody raves about. Are the other chips just a backyard version of this idea? |

From what I can gather there's not a whole lot of difference in what you can do with various J3 chips. For example, there's one on ebay for $220 new BUT no one in SA has the tools to tune them so then you're stuck with a cheap J3 chip that you're going to have to teach yourself how to tune.
Chiptorque and a few other companies also offer chips but they're all about as pricey as the Eliminator Chip. (someone correct me if I'm wrong) Thus the CAPA Eliminator Chip is still one of the most popular options. I'm pretty set on $350. These chips don't come up for sale very often and when they do they sell for about this much so I don't really want to settle for anything less as I'm more than happy to hang onto it and use it. ALTHOUGH! I would consider trading for something of interest to me....... PM if you've got anything you think I'd like. I'm really after some BA XR seats
