Hey mate, sorry havn't replied havn't been ont he forums in ages, unfortunalty computers these days drop in price rapidly due to technology..
You can buy a brand new computer for $541 which is a dual core, 19"WS,optical mouse, keyboard, ram, HDD, GFX, burner and the rest of it....

I'd offer you $250 - $300, I know it sounds a kick in the a*** but unfortunalty thats what their worth these days
cheers
- Ash

You've probly been looking at places like harvey norman and DSE,
Centre com
Cpl
MSY
Are computer firms that deal wholesale to the public (VIC only)
http://www.cpl.net.au/
Look in that green guide and you'll see super bargain setups for $541 including 19"WS

uhh...click onthe green guide (pdf file) all the parts lists and bundle packages are there...if you think its dodge or disgrace dun bother buying frmo there n go 2 rip off merchants like harvey norman or office works..
Try going to their store in Notting Hill and acutally see the joint, all I.T Firms and individual i.t professionals shop at these places..
