Ride: AU III XR8 Pursuit 250 ute

Location: Hobart
TAS, Australia

I have wrecked my supercharged EF wagon. I have for sale the parts from it, they will suit various applications, but mainly EA to AU.

Expect that more and more will be listed over the next few days as I clean up and take pictures.

Obviously with the amount of parts it's going to take a while to list everything and research a reasonable asking price, but for now I will put some general pictures and details up and let inquiries come in. I will endevour to update this thread quickly over the next few days and provide more information and pictures on each individual item.

The prices I have put are just rough guidelines based on what I have seen others selling similar items for or based on the new price. Everything is negotiable, happy for offers.

Some items I will put straight onto eBay. My username on there is the same as on here (twr7cx).

Items are located in 7018 in Tasmania, Australia.
I can be contacted by phone on 0439 815 079 (call or SMS).
If you don’t want to call, reply here, PM or better still, e-mail me at scott.cason2@gmail.com

If you are interested in a large item that requires freighting, I will not go around getting quotes for you. I will provide as much information as I can to assist you and you can get quotes yourself. I am happy to drop off the item to the freight company of your choice within the greater Hobart area. From past experience, the cheapest place is:
Total Freight Solutions
14 Maxwells Road
Cambridge
Tasmania
Australia 7170
Tel: 03 6248 4012
I have had buyers use this company numerous times now for large bulky items like sets of wheels and tyres.

Parts Available:

AU VCT 4.0L I6 engine complete.
Was rebuilt by Cresent Motorsports (CMS) 1,000kms ago to Stage 4 specifications which includes: reground cam, vernier cam gear, full head service, new valve guides, heavy duty valve springs, oversize exhaust valves, modified inlet valves, heavy duty retainers & collets, extensive porting and polishing. (http://www.crescentmotorsport.com.au/?page=AU )
Has accessories still fitted including alternator, power steering pump and air conditioning compressor. Also have Pacemakers Competitions series header extractors with 3” collector to suit.
Can include a JayCar electronic module that will activate the VCT module of the engine based on the vehicles RPM. This is what I used in my EF as my ECU didn’t have VCT function.
Can also include a modified K-frame to suit E-series vehicles for AU engine conversion.
$2,500.00.

15psi Powerdyne supercharger setup to suit EF/EL and earlier E-series with BBM conversion.
It is a Powerdyne BD-11 SilentDrive Belt Drive supercharger ( http://www.powerdyne.com/silentdr.htm ).
This is originally from a CAPA 9psi kit to suit EF-EL (original price of around $5,500.00). I've had it for a few years, but as this is my play car it's done very little kms in that time - approximately 20,000km.
Approximately 2,000kms ago the supercharger was rebuild by Tim Staier from Raptor Superchargers in Queensland. During this rebuild the unit was fitted with:
* 928 High-Performance Replacement Impeller for Powerdyne Superchargers ( http://www.928motorsports.com/parts/pow ... peller.php ). This is a CNC milled impeller, which improves the efficency by 20% - so this means 20% more boost at the same RPM! And also makes the unit more efficient to a higher internal RPM (60,000rpm instead of the original 48,000rpm), so you can run a smaller pulley on it and still have it operating efficently.
* higher speed and higher temperature rated ceramic bearings (to prolong it's like and allow higher internal RPMs)
* a stronger Gates internal belt.
* Raptor Active Air Cooling system to keep the internal temperature of the supercharger to a safe level and prolong it's life span. Basically this is a little electric air pump that pumps cool air through the supercharger to cool down it's internal running gear.
The rebuild alone was well over $1,500.00, the CNC impeller alone was $750.00ish.
The bracket is the proper CAPA setup. I have two brackets available, the first is for EF-EL 4.0L I6, but can easily be adapter to suit AU 4.0L Intech 6 too. The second is for AU VCT 4.0L Intech 6 and can also easily be adapter to run on a non-VCT AU 4.0L Intech 6. These come with the idler pulleys (of which there is 4 spares), posts, bolts etc. Each of these bracket setups retails for over $1,000.00 each from CAPA.
I have 3 belts to suit - one has seen better days and I use as my testing belt to test and ensure it's lined up correctly, one has been used but is still in perfect condition and a brand new spare belt still in it's original packaging and unused.
I have 3 pulleys to suit the supercharger, they are 2.9" (CAPA rated 5psi - now 6psi), 2.7" (9psi - now around 11psi) and 2.5" (potentially up to 15psi). Boost levels depend on how you set it up though and with the new impeller it makes around 20% more boost than it did at the exact same RPM with the old impeller. I personally have never put more than 9psi into my engine due to it only being tuned for 9psi.
The intercooler setup consists of:
*300 x 300 x75mm PWR Air to Air Intercooler ( http://pwr.com.au/#/view=products/s=is/ http://pwr.com.au/#/view=products/s=is/ ) - it's small for a turbo setup, but large enough for a supercharger setup.
* 3" aluminium piping.
* all the silicone joiners are Turbosmart brand ( http://www.turbosmartonline.com/index.php?id=40 ), not el cheepo crap.
* 3" hose clamps to suit hose clamps - I think they're Gates brand or some other big name hose clamp mob.
* Turbosmart Dual Port Adjustable BOV ( http://www.turbosmartonline.com/index.php?id=48 ). This has been rebuilt with the supercharger kit through it to have the correct spring setting to suit a centrifugal supercharger setup. It includes heaps of parts for this too - stiffer springs, different size trumpets, etc.
* 928 Motorsports Universal Adjustable Boost Limiter Valve (BLV) ( http://www.928m.com/parts/boostlimitervalve.php ). It's a mechanical means to bleed off any excess boost or to protect from overboost - adjustable from 1 - 30psi.
* Intake for the supercharger is 3.5" piping.
* K&N air filter, mounting bracket, pre-Charge filter cover, etc.
Heaps of spare parts including:
* Powerdyne supercharger bracket.
* 2x Powerdyne supercharger pulleys - 1x 2.9"(6psi) and 1x 2.7" (9psi).
* 1x idler post.
* 4x idler pulleys - 2 spares - 3 are metal and 1 is plastic.
* a spare Powerdyne internal impellor.
* Chip Torque chip tuned for EF XR6 4TBD ECU.
* Two bags of all the bolts and fittings that you need to mount the supercharger, and heaps of spares too!

Chasing $3,500.00 which is very cheap considering the costs of building it up. It's everything you need to bolt it on, you just have to sort out the ECU and fuel side of things.

Nolathane 44917L and R (Pedders) front coil over suspension. Fully adjustable height from low (think Tickford XR height) to ultra low! Whiteline front strut brace – the go from the engine mounts to the back of the upper control arm mounts. They’re the only strut brace that will fit in an EF or EL vehicle due to the BBM. The project ended up being scrapped when Whiteline changed ownership $250.00 for the pair.

Nolathane Evolution fully ratchet adjustable front camber kit. $200.00 for four units which covers both left and right side (usually they only sell in pairs which only do one side).

Cobra sports seats. Not sure what model they are - looks to me like an old version of the Daytona - http://www.cobraseats.com/daytona.htm .Generally they are in good condition, only one small rip or tears in the material, but there is some saggy sections.
Universall, so suits all types of vehicles, including coupes as they have the quick release levers to tilt the back of the seat forward for passengers to get into the rear easier.
