Here I have a Histall torque converter to suit a BTR95LE gearbox which is the gearbox fitted to e series automatic v8's, also early au's (iirc?)
The converter has had very little use and was removed in favour of a manual conversion. It was sold to me as a 2800stall, I couldnt get it to slip that far, i had it upto about 2600-2650. The converter is a modified standard unit so it is a direct boltup and retains the factory lockup. When running this converter I dropped my 60ft time by 0.2sec and my ET by almost 0.4 Very worthwhile mod for an auto V8 as you can see in the photo the manufacture date was 050508, so it is quite new and has had minimal use with no issues at all. im after $250, im happy to post at buyers expense but due to the weight of the item it wont be cheap (about $40 to perth) due to the item being second had it does still have a small amount of oil in it that i could not get out.. I also have a set of extractors off a TE50 (S1 i believe) that have been modified with 3inch collectors and minor port work on the flanges (just removed the intruding welds). theyre in reasonable condition, some surface rust and a few small dents. $50 happy to post at buyers expense.. ill leave this up for a week, if items dont sell ill put them on ebay. any questions just ask thanks mitch

just a note, au extractors do not fit on e series...

extractors sold
if the au runs a BTR95LE then yes... AFAIK they do.. but im not 100% sure.. -mitch

the converter? id assume they'll transport it..
around about $22 to adelaide.. ive run a few postage calcs to give some ideas $20 to melbourne $22 to adelaide $40 to perth it weighs about 12kg and would be about 35x35x25cm once packaged. (my postcode is 2156 if you want to check it out) cheers mitch

hey bud might be a stupid question but will it bolt up to my ef 6cyl auto.
and whats the differance between 6cyl and 8cyl stall converters. cheers |
