My EBI farimont Ghia is for sale...

Factory issued 1991 V8 5 speed Fairmont Ghia (one of only 30 made in this option level)
all power options, digital dash, power windows etc..
lowered (with king springs)
Tinted windows (not illegally dark)
2 1/2 inch exhaust from cats back
300,000kms.. still goes hard
LSD was rebuilt in 2002, needs one wheelbearing
New steering rack done mid last year
Good tyres (on factory 15' mags)
CD player
Body is reasonably straight
Paint is silver metallic, and has crazed in parts
Has a larger airflow metre, EL GT air horn.. otherwise stock.
Clutch is an 'excedy extreme' Heavy duty
Has the clear front indicators.

Goes pretty hard still

Sounds like a good price :)

Was it factory manual? My understanding is that there was no manual option for Fairmont upwards.

yes.. the 5 speed is really really rare in a fairmont ghia, especially as they had the GT come out only a year or so after this.

i'm the second owner.. had it 5 years

Factory manuals were available in the EB's...the only combination I DON'T think you could get was a 5 Speed Manual V8 Wagon hehe :)

Good luck with the sale...it like a good price...I'd be tempted for another second car :oops:

has an air intake off an el gt... just the cold air intake to the airbox...

I have seen an EB series 1 V8 5speed manual wagon fairmont ghia.. not a seires 2 though. And it was stock, yes... at that stage you could pay extra and get anything you wanted... still yet to take pics.. apologies
