So are the twin headlights, surround plus wiring still for sale? So the steering wheel is a standard item from a sprint? What about the extractors? Cheers

with all due respect mate, you cant say im stripping the car but then not sell anything untill something else sells. either your going to sell it or remove the thread.

and for the record, your after 3k for a car thats really not worth it in these days, like mick on here cant even sell a fairlane sportsman for 700 and it has leather interior and sunroof along with about $1000 of gear in the boot, so asking for a rust free XG ute with rego is asking way too much, utes hold their value way better then sedans.

with saying that good luck with the sale if you decide to proceed

Thats abit harsh but true. You will make more money if you strip the car, you will struggle to sell the car for $2000 and you can sell the xr front, steering wheel, wheels, extractors, bodykit for more then that. You already have guys chasing these parts so they wont be hard to get rid of.

as harsh as it is, its been for sale for about 7 weeks and he said he will strip it, and yet nothing has been sold but plenty of people after parts from it, he is the one refusing to sell parts in a for sale section

I'm interested in the car, but with everything not in pieces.

Let me know if you still want it gone.

Cheers

I have to agree while we would all like more or should i say for what we think our cars are worth the differance is in reality its only worth what people are going to pay and it is worth more to you if the car is wrecked, people here just arent paying that much for a ED look at the EF Sedan that was on here last week it sold for $300 and everyone was falling over to get it first, that was a bargain but take my advice wreck it, Its worth more to you to do it that way and as your in brissie you can pick a motor up for $99 at progress road wreckers so maybe consider listing it on ebay if you feel its worth more to you as a whole car and see how you go? another example is the extractors are worth just as much or more than motor so if sold seperately you double your money same as gearbox they are going for around $150- $200 on ebay but only my two cents worth cheers Alan P.S and i know my car even though now has a AU motor in the EF is worth more for me to wreck than to try and sell whole.

If you can get a 5.0 motor complete and working for $99 I will buy three of them right now..

I just called progress rd wreckers ..They quoted me $660 EXCHANGE for a 5.0 motor complete.
Not $99 as you mentioned..

With all due respect huggie, you are not helping the sale here. Seems to me you are unhappy because aristopwr has not sold anything in this thread.

The guidelines state that nobody is to post information harming a members sale.

don't let me catch you doing it again.

Im closing this thread for now.

You seem to be changing your stance on weather you are selling the car or swapping it.

You also appear to be messing around with people wanting to buy parts.

Are you wrecking or selling?
