Ok, I recently purchased this as an in between car whilst I save up for a BA/BF wagon, however I have fallen in love the V8 so I have decided instead to upgrade to a newer V8 (hopefully an EL XR8). Therefore I need not save as much, and this is now for sale.

Interior is better than most I've seen, and is the grey velour and leather, woodgrain trim in the doors. Back seats hardly look sat in.

All power windows, aerial, door locks and POWER SUNROOF work. Has premium sound (with CD stacker in boot). Has XR6 mags (I think they are), and spoiler. Factory tow pack (needs tongue), and trans cooler. Transmission overhauled in 05.

Has nice exhaust tone. Not sure what it is, but I think its a slightly larger exhaust with standard headers.

Only bad points:
Odometer stopped (199454), about $25 to fix (search the forums!!)
Aircon seems to work but not overly cold. Most likely just needs a regas
Few small marks etc with age, couple of small rust spots, near the fuel filler cap, and a few tiny bits above windscreen/back window.

Sell $1750 CASH. Not negotiable. Has rego til Mid december and will sell with pink slip (pass) done a few weeks ago.

PM or PH 0414 397 241

Located Sutherland, Sydney.

Perfect for a second family car, first V8 or absolutely perfect as a cheap start for modifications. Doubt you'll get something decent to use as a daily driver for any cheaper!!

To answer your question,

She runs nicely.
Fuel trip meter shows 14L per 100K

Yes, I'd call it fairly straight, especially for the kind of coin we are looking at but if you are looking for something in concourse condition without a mark on it, I think you need to look elsewhere (and try a few more thousand $).
Theres no accident 'damage', just the car park things you tend to get over the years. My 2001 AU was worse in fact. I pretty much assure you that you won't be disappointed.

Sutherland is about 20min closer to you from Cronulla.

Get in touch in a few weeks if you are still keen. Otherwise feel free to organise an inspection.

Bump. Anyone else?

I can't believe this is still here. The market is really dead at the moment.

And no, its not negotiable, way too good to let it go cheaper, I'd rather use it as a nice lawn ornament if I had to! :)

I would be so honestly on to this, if a you where willing to travel half way as I'm in vic, and B. Victoria would allow for V8 P-PLATERS! But no! too many other damn hoon's that hoon around in V8's have set a bad example for other p-plater's limiting me to a 6 cylinder!

You could always get a car carrier.

What are the ocnsequences if you are caught driving a V8 down there?

Anyway, I was hoping I wouldn't have to resort to ebay and dealing with ebay morons, but I might have to list it there. I think I'll get more too, theres plenty of suckers on ebay. :)

Not sure to be honest, I would asume that not only you get fined a huge amount that the car would get impounded, and to get it back you would have to buy it back at the auctions.. And that car is too good to get caught in and get impounded.

I know what you mean by ebay, there are too many people that f**k around with sellers on there it's not funny..

I know this sounds stupid but what's a car carrier? if it's shipping it how much do you think it would cost to get it to melbourne?
