looking to sell my basic work hack, perhaps someone on here would be interested... would rather someone pick it up than take it to the wrecker. I remember looking for a manual EL years back, it was close to impossible to find one that wasnt massively dodge in some manner, this one looks a bit dodge due to the paint, but really, still drives pretty damn well.

So its a factory 5spd, 1997 EL Futura (2 airbags, much safety!)

* 256xxx km on the body/drive-line
??? ???km on the motor (400$ wrecker special, but hey, he promised me it was a "good motor", wreckers are the most trustworthy people out there eh?), has approx 40,000km on it since installation

* motor runs well, all fluids stay in their correct spots, pulls strongly, slightly erratic idle as the intake manifold gasket needs replacing

* wade 977B cam, pacemaker extractors, 2.5" single muffler + hotdog exhaust. Comes with a J3 chip with a 977B map loaded, just doesn't seem to run quite right, runs better on the stock map so... that's where it is right now. With the J3 installed, the car pulls really well (hard!) up to around 3200 then seems to hit some sort of fuel or ignition cut, jerking around all over the place. Could be related to the intake gasket leak, could be something else. Car also comes with a new ignition coil and dizzy module (haven't gotten around to putting them on, was going to swap them in an effort to get the J3 going properly)

* new front discs/bearings and pads 2000 km ago, new rear pads and discs currently in the back seat

* new clutch cable recently (it snapped, so goddamn annoying), firewall has been rebuilt/re-welded at the clutch cable point previously

* interior is in reasonable nick (still better than most EL's I looked at 5 years ago), JVC mp3/USB headunit, pioneer 2ch amp (2x50w bridged to sub), 12" sony sub, unknown brand front splits, 6" pioneer 2 ways in the rear

* Body / paint is has some issues - major clear coat cancer on the bonnet and roof, few dings here and there (nothing major, you just wouldn't call it straight)

* new front tyres (few thousand k), one good rear and one at maybe 50% (would pass RWC), EF XR mags (15"), tinted windows

has almost a year of reg (MAY 2015), and shouldn't really have a problem with RWC (at most you might need to stick a cheap exhaust on the rear section or something, but it passed fine with this exhaust a few years back)

edit ; 1K with the rego or 600 without, good parts at that price!

PM here or call/sms oh four two eight two seven nine two five nine after 7pm, also, i;ll be overseas from 11th july to 24th with no phone. location coburg
