Is it possible to get a H4 High/Low beam kit?
How much extra would we be looking at?

Hi,
could be intersted but, newbie question....is drilling holes required to mount the ballasts & if so wheres the best place?

Hey mate, there are existing holes in your car, you can use them, or you will have to drill holes (small screws nothing big), or you can zip tie the ballast down.

Hey mate, yes you can order BI xenon, their $200, $50 more.

Thread updated, I have just installed them into my car, check out the pictures.
Note**
HID's are 6000k H4
Standard lights you see are SUper whites 55watt Halogens

Cheers

What about for ef /el xr6 lights?? Would this reqire two kits (6000k low +8000k high?? ) talk about blinding  Or is there a kit that would come as a set to do these lights?? It would look a bit wierd if the low were brighter than the high + different type of light being emmitted.

Basically these HID's tap into your normal headlight plug (plug that fits into the acutal light), if your after Bixenon (H/L beams) you use the same HID bulb, it just gets alot brighter than usual.

I am selling Single beam (which are inteh pictures) and when i turn my high beams on it over powers the HID's.
If you want BI Xenon I can get them in as well, same single bulb but with a different relay setup. they are $200 instead of $150.
Some people who want to go extreme run two sets of HID's the second Kit (for High beams) they usually go a higher wattage, thats if you want to spend that kind of money.
ED-EF Xr lights are H1 Correct?

I Honestly couldn't say what type of globes they use, But the piont that I'm getting at is that a standard falcon using H4 will switch between high and low whereas the xr6 activates all four at the same time, and if i'm going to the trouble of changing the low beams (outer lights) , the hi beam(inner) lights would be dimmer. The reason that your highbeam overpowers the xennon, could be due to the fact that the low beam switches off when high beam is activated.

No worries mate, I will start asking for payments in about a week and a half.
As for the XR both H/L staying on, and standard lights interchanging off and on. I will get back to you on that one tomorrow

With the standard lights you will need the bi-xenon setup. It has a relay included so that when your high beams are on, the low beams stay on but it has a magnet that readjusts the beam height for high beam.

If you get the normal single setup for H4, unless you do some rewiring/soldering, the low beams will turn off completely when you have high beams on.

Yes mate, unfortunalty ALL Bi-xenon setups run on the fact of:
Lowbeams on
highbeams turned on (lowbeams turn off)
highbeams turned off (Lowbeams come back on)

If you want you can buy two seperate kits, keeping in mind HID's take a second to warm up thus you wont get an instant flash, but for Highway driving you wont have a problem.
If you interetesd in getting two kits PM me and I can get you a better price.
Cheers

I didn't bother getting separate high beams. Xenon lights don't like to be "flashed" on and off, and even though I live in outer western sydney, you're always turning high beams on and off when you're passing cars etc.

Not only that, you have twice as many ballasts to hide!

Thats true, If you don't have the XR H1 setup the H4 Hi/Lo are instant flash as it uses the same bulb thats already on.

So for normal H4 lights (non XR) you can have Hi/Lo beam, or Single beam,
As for XR its only Single Beams. XR lights look reallly good as you've got the projectors.
