plus the time, I doubt ford have to many 'complete' ELGT spares hanging around. They'd have to be made up.

For the money spent, I'd rather keep the stock look, and get a 'spare' ELGT donk.
lol rumour has it that ford used to have a few GT40 bodies sitting around in storage as a spare part item right up till the late 90's...... supposedly holman-moody in the US built them up as the real deal in the end

the rims don't look like concorde ones to me, they are silver so they are sportman rims.

different strokes for different folks.

i have a guy wanting to trade in a BA1 with heaps of Herrod gear, interior, exhaust, suspension and wheels, in on a BAII XR8 this week.

They are 100% Concorde rims, no why those are sportsman rims..
The guy was crazy to put the sportsman/concorde style rim on his car, so doesnt suit it.

Unless im colourblind those are definetly gold, not light silver.

Has anyone phoned this guy to see what the deal is with the engine?

Ive just sent the pic to 8 mates over the net and showed it to my parents, all say gold.
Have you seen sportsman rims, they arent dirty gold looking, they are actually light grey, quite grey looking; look here if you dont believe me:

http://www.carsales.com.au/pls/carsales/!cs_content.private_vehicle?vehicle_id=2013712&current_rec=1&total_rec=1&sort_type=&make_id=6&model_id=39&badge_id=17614&state_id=-1&search_distance=25

btw, i have perfect vision lol - was actually tested not more than a month ago to ensure.. go figure.[/url]

I was the first to say concorde rims, and I stick by that.

edit: look at my car, I know gold when I see it.

Agreed; i look at the pic again the colour of sportsman rims are like the silver in the front bar two toned bit - definetly gold.
