Quote:
they look great, any chance of a thermally insulative coating or is the alloy pretty good at 1.6mm thick?

no i wont be supplying any coating or insulation of any type, just mirror polished...
no metal at any thickness is ever a good insulator...

Quote:
Guessing its only for 4.0 Litre cars?

yes, only for 4litre I6's with a BBM setup...

Quote:
will these fit an au

yes, as long as you have the EL rubber elbow off the throttle body, or you could try modding the AU elbow to suit, but ill leave that to you to decide...

im not going to get into a performance debate...
this works in conjuction with a CAI and filter...
5rwkw increase has been seen on other memebers cars, but the other half of it is engine bay dress up...

if you have the ef 'flat dual runner' style intake, you will need the el joiner off the throttle body, and it will fit no problems

They look alright, but no one wants to buy added parts for their EF when a pipe connecting to the TB from the air box costs just as much.
Make some that connect to the TB and you've got a sale.

no, and the reason being is that i have one that connects to the TB and i have clearance issues, as do most others with that setup, and im not keen on selling something that doesnt clear things properly and will get damaged when the bonnet closes...

that looks alot like mine vince!!lol. good work there mate..

and why have it go to the tb when this setup does the same thing and is better for the flexing in the system when at high revs!
