Ride: NC II Fairlane

Location: morayfield
NSW, Australia

time to sell off the wagon, between having no job and getting the fairlane back on the road i have decided to sell the wagon, the other half has bought a KH laser that we will register and use until the fairlane is done.

details:
1989 EA 'S' wagon
midnight express tint
almost new exhaust 2 1/4
Velor seats and trims
CPI with 3 speed, 1 wire move for MPFI conversion, i also have a motor here from EB II complete that if wanted can work something out
thermofans

the bad points, the rust i cut out back when i put it on the road, there is some small bits coming back in the rear dogleg and wheel arch's, nothing too bad.
the passenger side rear 1/4 has a small spot of rust coming up aswell as some across the top of the front window
the motor leaks a small amount of oil from the top of the timing case which can just be sealed up with some gasket goop, there is no oil in the water and no water in the oil so its only that stupid rubber piece.
the acc cable snapped on me a few days back so i had to install a MPFI one to get me by until i can find a new CFI one but works and you get full throttle still.
at times the gearbox is a little firm when shifting into second but 95% of the time its smooth, maybe just needs a oil change
the key is a little worn and comes out of the ignition in any position but doesn't fall out while driving
there is no central locking in the car but you can buy these from repco/autobarn/wow for $20 a kit as i seen in the latest catalog today.
since velor only came with power window models the rear trims have the holes for power window switches
currently the rear seat is still s-pac but ill change it to velor before i sell it
the bonnet has crows feet as it came off another car, but i still have the factory bonnet with the fake GT vents on it
the dash has cracks but i can throw in a NCII dash pad
also as it was series 1 it had the oval door buttons where as the EBII trims used the square so i had to cut them down, but its not hard to change the door lock poles in the door to the later type, takes about 10 seconds to swap once trim is off.
previous owner had door protectors on the car and when i removed them they took a bit of paint

what it will need for RWC:
both lower ball joints, one sometimes makes a bit of a clunk at times when going up a driveway
a bit of gasket goop to stop said oil leak
tyres as the FTR's arnt for sale

stereo system will be removed along with wheels,
the stereo wires havnt been cut as i used an adaptor but im keeping it for now.
its currently registered but selling without rego. willing to make a deal with left over rego,
ill also be removing the air horns and the sun visor off the front and will be replaced with the factory window covers

chasing $600 as is. pick up from caboolture north of brisbane,

i have tried to be as honest as possible with this car, i have described this car to the best of my ability, this car passed RWC back in december but as i know the person doing the RWC's he could have gone lenient on me (ball joints and tyres) but i did swap alot of items for RWC - shocks (were old ones from my old sedan) steering rack

for more information do a search in the build section for my thread on the car "clean boxcar wagon"

also please not front bar was resprayed with touchup paint and may need another coat or 2 aswell as the rear bar needs primer on the grey section and painted white but im willing to do this before sale.

any other questions PM me. starts easy and runs smooth.

BUMP

bought a KH laser today, need it gone.

$500 and ill include the last 3 months rego so you can get it home, replace ball joints, tyres and get a RWC and ill happily sign it over.

i was also told that because it has had rego for less then 4 months it may not need another RWC, im not 100% on this but feel free to ring QLD transport.
