can you please give me an idea of courier costs for the head to 3450? Thanks, i cant buy this week right at the minute, possibly next week. What sort of benefits are to be had with a supercharged setup? Ive already got a cam.

This is perfect for any forced induction setup as it flows more air at a higher rate. And the idea of forced induction, be it turbo or supercharger, is to force more air at a higher rate into the engine.

Postage costs without the cam to 3450 would be around $80.

buy the head put it on a flow bench and see what its rated to, there is no onther way to even find out if it would flow enough to get to those HP levels.

Mate, in my opinion this head will handle 100000kw. But my opinion is worth s**t as I know only the basics about heads... Why do people keep asking me that?! I didn't realise there were so many 350kw E-series out on the roads...

Like dc said... the only way you will be able to tell what this head is capable of and how good the porting job was is to put it on a flow bench and see how it flows.

Head is just dirty mate. It was pulled off a motor and hasn't been touched since. Oil turns into gunk when you leave it like this has been left. All it needs is a clean. Any head place can clean heads.

Saying that the motor doesn't look well serviced because the head is dirty is a little silly. As you can see, all the coolant ducts have next to no corrosion so it's obviously always had good coolant in it and really, that's the only thing that really matters on these heads.

I'm thinking I'm going to take the cam and rocker gear off, take the head to a mate and get it cleaned up and then sell it all separately.

sorry i meant service as in oil changes..
that one of the dirtiest heads ive seen in a long time especially for 140,000..
my old engine had 200.000 kms on it and it had oil changes every 10.000 kms.from new and every 5000 from 150,000
and its been out of the car for a year now and its no where as dirty as that head.lol

anyway i was just pointing out the obvious ..

good luck with the sale
