Make an offer guys - Im reasonably rlexible, although I wont be giving the car away ;)

Guys.

My 93 EBII Fairmont GHIA is up for grabs. Bunter has seen it : its not bad, no rust, has been resprayed in its past.

Panels are fairly good except the rear quarter, and a few scratches. Sunroof and all electrics working/not leaking.

Engine is indeed out of TE50. (Specs here -> http://www.trueblueford.com/AU1te50_specs.html#engine

Interior is good, Drivers seat Bolster has wear as they all do. Seats are the 50/50 Leather/Velour

Car has new (Jan 08) King Low Springs all round, with new Shocks by Wholesale Suspension Blacktown.

The Factory Stereo has been removed by previous owner. . Has 4 * pioneer 4-ways at the moment, and sounds ok (surprisingly good even?). Of course Im sure you could make room for subs if you want them.

No RWC, Reg in VIC expires 15th March. Should pass fairly easily.

It aint perfect, but its a lot of fun.

Listed on Ebay..

I also have an EB GT Steering wheel with cruise buttons that may be negotiated with the car, and a pioneer head unit to suit. (both not included at the moment)

Hmmm. Appears that the car may in fact have a TE50 engine. (Thats the 200kw AU one). Explains the cars responsiveness!.

Does anyone know how to decode an engine number? - JGSXU87020

I know the previous owner that was selling it claimed a 200kw AU motor.

Mmm yeah.

Its very pokey - better than my previous v8 (5.8 Clevo). I like that about it.

I took the cover off - It wasnt the one that fits properly anyway

.. and it looks mucho nicer ;)

Did I mention it gets 500k/tank highway on LPG?

Ok Guys - First post edited to reflect AU TE50 Engine

Been a very interesting 24 hrs - and if I had room for an extra toy this would now stay.

Taking a good look around, I find nice heads with GTP on the side... Ahhh now this makes sense.

Numbers and Dates Line up, and ford service guys suspect same.

Very responsive car to drive (even on LPG).

Lotsa fun. Good even as engine transplant into other E series ;)

you know you want it.
