Hi guys, got a set of 4 EL XR6 mags in 15".

I personally think they are the ugliest mags for ever released. hence they have been sitting at home in the garage doing nothing.

So they may as well earn some money for me.

Mags are in ok to fair condition, a good clean would see them come up ok, the mags are fine, not warped, not buckled. I have been using them for track rubber up till recently, but the rubber has worn out and currently $$ does not exsist to replace it.

I think currently there is some flogged out tyres on it that I would be comfortable to say are NOT roadworthy.

So taking into consideration the following facts..

1. I dont' like them.
2. The rubber is shagged.
3. I need money more than a spare set of mags I don't like.
4. I am sure somone else would appreciate them as they are a reasonable quality set of mage and a good upgrade for a young bloke who currently has hubcaps.

So, considering the rubber is shagged and you would either need to strip and fit your exsisting 15" rubber or purchase new rubber, I will start by feeling out the market and ask about $160.

Pick up only from Gymea Caringbah area.

Pls keep it in this thread and keep it on topic,

Your negative thoughts are yours, so keep em to yourself.

Cheers Dave.

BTW, I will try and upload some photos tomorrow, ( I am ment to be working today :))

I will put up some pics tomorrow arvo. From memory, no rash if there is its minimal, I had these rims on the car for about 4 days (as long as it took to get EL GT mags and good rubber) they were the factory supplied rim otherwise, I have not paid much attention to em otherwise, so i cannot say with confidence they are flawless, but I know that where tyre weights have been previously there are some marks on the clear coat, I dont think the clear is peeling, just stained.

But pictures tomorrow will show all.

Keep your stokies, strip the rubber off them and put it on these rims.

I got rims all over the place, between years of fords and racing jaguars, I am well equipt.

He would be selling the rims that look similar to the Futura Classic rims not the FTR's

ok pic update coming, these are definatly NOT ftr's.. I wish they were, I would not be selling them..

They are 15's

what they are from there you guys can work out, but AFAIK these were the EL 15" stock rim, once you see em, you will know why people upgraded to the FTR's as an option.

ok pics speak for themselves. overall condition is not to bad, one with a bit of gutter rash, and one with a scratch to the face, only small, but these thinks happen when you go backwards off a track at 100 and find witches hats.

oh yeah.. these do not come with wheel nuts.

I would strongly advise against using these tyres on your own car, the once that have air in them are badly work down from either my father inlaws EB with non-exsistant wheel alignment or have been used for mild smoke shows, also on the EB.

standard pre-au stud pattern and offset, sorry mate the mags are outside, i am inside and it cold. So needless to say I will not have an answer tonight, but I am sure the others on here that are a wealth of info will be able to confirm the exact info you are after re these mags.

If you are happy to wait till tomorrow I will gladly check in the morning before work.

I am convinced ford only released these so people would take the upgrade option to 16" FTR's.
