For ADR compliance what bolt did you use to attach the rails to the seats? 7/16 High Tensile?

just the bolts that came with the seats, as i said, they are not engineered or adr compliant. dunno what it would take to get it that way tho :)

Will depend how they are mounted to the seats - structually how strong they would be in an accident or under high force situations....

I have buckets in mine and they've been certified by an engineer - the same bolts used by ford to mount the rails to the floor are of the quality that should be used to mount the seat to the rails - normally 7/16" UNC high tensile bolts with corresponding nyloc nuts...

For seatig their are ADR compliances that have to be met along with state or terriorrity laws such as the VSB (Vehicle Standards Bulletin) for WA/ACT/NSW all can be found on DOTARS (do a google) but should be www.dotars.gov.au

Then theres just the added cost for an engineer to witness and certify any works done and put it on paper...in some states you may also need seperate compliance plates/certificates
