1. Have you researched into these using the same frequencies that victoria police use?

2. How flexible are these units- When will Victoria police change their frequencies / do they use multiple different frequencies etc?

3. Are these units 'invisible' / Automatically shut off once they detect a radar?

4. Also, these only detect the hand held radars yes?

5. From how far away?

Yes, they use K, and Ka bands this covers both of them and the X band
Ka freq - 33.4 - 36.0 GHz
4. Also, these only detect the hand held radars yes?
no they will detect in car / multi nova / hand held

5. From how far away? ~ 600m havent tested mine on long stretch's yet

Cool, are we buying through an agent who is accredited for the 3year warranty?

Looks good so far, i want to find something that says its undetectable / shuts off automatically etc

Also, the camera gets picked up from 600metres away, thats good, but does it have to be pointed in your direction or can it pickup the back of the camera etc?

Might need two of these :)

Matt

Hmm, so you dont get caught speeding, you get caught for having a radar detector and they push an unlubricated baton into your a***! :(

Anyone used these before?
Maybe you'd have better luck on pertheseries.com.
We're looking for a group buy there too..

Yes, they are still legal in WA. The Bel STI is the only undetectable radar detector as Mitch_ stated.
