Yeah I am aware I'll have to run in these extra wires... Its no hassle, a good weekend job

the switches on the mechanisms are for the door ajar circuit mechs need to be removed from the door to remove the switch without breaking them be carefull taking the switches off the mechanisms, they break the tabs that hold them into the mech very easy the looms are different so u will need to add the 2 extra wires into your loom for the door ajar setup timmy, also the fairmont ghia/fairlane door loom has different plugs to join into the dash loom than the fairmont(check your loom the extra wires are sometimes there)

Quote: same with the bits for the fuel flap one... and just the plug off the body loom for the sensor (or is it part of the door loom?) and I'm happy Fuel flap sensor is out (I didn't unplug, I left a length of wire beyond the plug to the main loom as per the tech doco). I'll have another look at the door looms tonight, I know they culminate in a plug inside the door but can't remember if this plug also includes the central locking (if so I'll just unplug/cut from the central locking). I'll also cut the loom beyond the plug in each door for you. PM sent!

I think the floormats & bootmat are genuine. Dashmat is aftermarket but the grey matches Series 1 carpet colour. I'll take pics tomorrow night if you like.
Mats aren't immaculate, but they're not torn, burnt, worn through. Just a bit dirty/dusty (especially the bootmat). I'll clean them up prior to pics. Cheers
