The fairmont moved most of my stuff before the full-size male grey kanga decided to jump out of the bush and right in front of the car. There was zero warning because the bushes were only a metre or so from the edge of the road. Lucky i was only doing about 40 to 45km/h otherwise i may have ended up with him in my lap. One millisecond there was road in front of the windscreen, the next it was all kanga. God damn wish it was comprehensively insured. He went over the roof, and i later found the interior light cover had popped off. Poor chap.

I actually drove the car around a fair bit in order to get another car, not so fun at night when it pioured rain and i didn't use the windscreen wipers . . though later found that i could. Don't do this at home, too dangerous.

The fairmont is up for wrecking.

Four electric window regs/motors $200

BA intake $40

Rear battery conversion, 900cca battery approx 18mths old but due to size equivalent to say 6mths old, plus 240A narva positive lead (used by truckies to jump start their rigs) and two earth leads, PUMP YOUR STEREO! $120

Bumper, bonnet, guards, pass side rear door, wing mirrors damaged : ( , but can still post pics. Tranny a bit declined too.

Seats good except for dirt/dust, been told to hose them down and they will come good.

Almost brand new tie rod end $10.

Interior pics to come, maybe tomorrow.

Engine strong but 280k $100 (we pull, no accessories)

My brains a bit out of gear, i'll let you know about the first stuff soon.

Sorry the aerial is stuffed, was stuffed when i bought it. I later cut the gizzard out and made it manual, but then kanga pushed him over. But i guess the part underneath the panel is all there. Is that of value, just put a new aerial part in?

I've taken out all the roof lights and grab handles, no damage.

Is there a way i can remove the wiring without removing the ceiling lining? What pillar does it come up? Should i save the lining, it's in good nic?

$40 including the antenna

###EDIT: I've zipped over to adelaide at short notice, and brought the shed stuff with me. So the shed stuff is now available from Fullarton SA, and the fairmont wrecking will become available again in a few weeks when i return.###

Ps. i removed the roof wiring down the drivers side C pillar.
